Campaign Performance & Scaling
What should we do if TROAS is restricting campaign spend? +
If Target ROAS is too high, campaigns become restrictive and spend less. Lowering TROAS allows the algorithm to enter more auctions and increase spend. After changes, allow time for the system to adapt without frequent adjustments.
Does changing prices affect campaign performance? +
Small price changes usually have no major impact. Significant changes, especially on high-spend products, may trigger some learning but not a full reset.
What should we do with products taking most of the spend? +
If they perform well, keep and scale them using separate campaigns. If underperforming, optimize feed signals, reduce visibility, or exclude them if needed.
Can we exclude Display from Performance Max campaigns? +
Display cannot be fully excluded in PMax. However, you can reduce its impact by turning off asset optimization.
How do we scale new stores? +
New stores go through a learning phase. Scaling is limited initially while Google gathers data. Performance fluctuations are normal during this stage.
Do you rebuild campaigns or optimize existing ones? +
We audit first. If campaigns are strong, we optimize them. If weak, we rebuild while keeping useful data.

How many products should we add daily? +
For new stores, add 5–20 products daily. Scale based on spend milestones to maintain stability.
How many products should a store have based on budget? +
Product count should align with budget: ~300 products for $400/day, up to ~800 products for $1000+/day.
How do we identify poorly performing products? +
Check product performance in Google Ads over 2–3 weeks. Remove or optimize products with spend but no conversions or low ROAS.
Where can we find top converting search terms? +
Go to Google Ads → All Products → Search Terms and analyze performance based on spend and revenue.

How can we update missing product attributes? +
Use feed apps like Symprosis or Multifeed, or update directly in Shopify via metafields or bulk edit.
How do we fix invalid GTIN issues? +
Remove GTIN from Shopify or stop sending it via the feed if valid GTINs are unavailable.
How do we exclude products without deleting them? +
Use custom labels and exclude them in campaigns or use "Hide from Google" in GMC.
How do we fix "Unavailable Desktop Landing Page"? +
Request a review for one product to trigger a full site recrawl.
Why are products not syncing with GMC? +
Products usually sync automatically at midnight via the Google & YouTube app.
Can one GMC be used for multiple stores? +
No. One GMC account must be used per domain to avoid suspension.

Fix issues, then request a review for one product to trigger a full account recrawl.
Can we switch GMC to another country? +
Yes, but you must update country, currency, shipping, and policies before resubmitting.
